How do I get really good at football?
Whаt аrе a few training methods I dο tο really improve mу dribbling, tackling (blocking) аnd shooting?
Mу opponents play football аt thе State level. I’m pretty crap against thеm. I саn lure thе ball away frοm mу opponents wіth mу foot, I саn tackle іf I’m lucky enough tο hаνе mу foot іn front οf theirs wіth thе ball, аnd whеn I take a shot аt goal іt еіthеr misses οr thе keeper gets іt.
Anу thουghtѕ οn hοw I сουld improve?
I’m no expert, but the first thing ya gotta do is stop questioning your ability to play with those suckers. If you practice as hard as you can with your entire team, results should reap in, and you will be quite satisfied with the results.
-Try going out to a field and kicking at the goal
-Try new moves
-Repetition is a excellent thought

Since it does sound like you are having problems with your technique I recommend bringing in someone else to help. Whether that be a coach or even going to a camp. I learned a lot from going to week long camps. I also learned a lot from buying DVDs from www.soccer.com. Mind the pros too, you can see what they are doing and they more you know about what they are doing the better you can potentially apply it to your game. Excellent luck and have fun.
1-warm-up?one touches against a wall about three feet away–jogging less than a mile. Don’t want to get to tired.–juggling–pelays=
2-passing drills?find a nice long wall and try to pass with yourself while dribbling down the side. about 6-8 feet away from the wall, pass the ball at an angle to the wall and recieve it back, take a few touches, then pass again… and so on.–more one touches. see how many you can get w/o messing up.–get with other peopleand do some passsing around and have a excellent time.
3-shooting drills?line up as many balls as you can in front of a goal in front of about the 6 (small goal box) and shoot them, by proper technique every time.–practice shooting w/o running up to hit the ball.–then practice shooting up against a wall and when it comes back to you, no matter how much it’s in the air or how weird of an angle you get, one touch back to the wall, you should be about 10-20 ft away from the wall.
4-ball control?dribbling in between cones, pulling a go (scissors, step over, cuts with inside and outside of the foot, pull back, and others you can reckon of),practice just doing them in a small space.–throw the ball a small in the air and try to trap it on the ground with the first or following bounce. the better you get, the higher you throw the ball.
5-exercise?squats, leg lifts, sit-ups, push-ups, all the normal workout stuff. try running, and change your pace periodicaly when your running to build up your endurance. sprints are excellent but don’t rely on them to much and don’t push yourself to hard. and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS remember to stretch. strecth after you do your warm up drills because while you might make the team, you’ll be meeting on the bench with oulled, sore muscles. so strech strech strech! lol i can;t spell it, oh well.
I hope this helps!!!!
