How do you stretch out a tight football helmet?
Wе ѕtаrtеd footbal іn pads today аnd mу helmet іѕ exTREMEly tight around mу forehead, back οf mу head, аnd sides οf mу head. I’ve played football іn thе past аnd I know thаt thеу аrе nοt supposed tο bе THIS tight. Iѕ thеrе anyone whο knows a way tο stretch out a helmet? I really dο nοt want tο look lіkе a whimp аnd tеll mу coaches thаt іt іѕ tοο tight… Hеlр please? Points tο BEST аnѕwеr.
LOL… You aren’t going to stretch out a helmet. You will have to tell the coaches so you can be refitted.
you could do 1 of 6 things:
1. get a larger helmet
2. take the pads out of inside helmet and switch with smaller pads from some kid who dont need it as much as you
3. dont wear helmet ever be a man and play without it
4. take pads out and drive over them with your moms car
5. place vaseline on them
6. dont be a pussy and you will get use to it
Well,You can question them to take some of the air out of it,or it will just take some time to fit to your head,i know it used to take a couple days to get my head comfortable with my helmet.

thats what happened to me too. you just have to get used to it and after wearing it for like a week itll be fine.
thts happend to me i took out my ear pads place the helment on and then place the ear pads back on while wearin my helment untill they got me a new one

If your helmet stretched out of the elastic range, it would degrade its ability to protect you. Telltale your coaches you need a larger size is not wimpy, it’s smart.
It may be the same size helmet you had last year but your head could have grown or the helmet may have been reconditioned with new and thicker padding.
In the meantime, get a buzz cut. Less hair may help until the equipment manager gets you a larger bucket.
