What are good excersices to improve in basketball?

Like for example is running a lot good to improve me in basketball. What are other excersices or drills to improve me in basketball?

    Anything to do with footworkand jumping ability. Dot drills, cone drills, wall jumps, and jump roping. Jump roping is probably the most effective because it increases quickness and jumping ability.

    the first guy is gay, so i would say run a lot, and just work on your forearm muscles. those are the ones that give you throwing and shooting strength for all sports.
