You have to hit the weight room everyday, but exercise different parts of your body. And get some kind of protein drink.

Effective out is a no brainer, but a long with that you need to eat a lot of calories. Try to eat high in protein food. I also recommended to getting a tub of whey protein and take it as directed. Protein will help your muscles grow. As far as speed goes, plyometrics will be your best bet. Ladders and jumping boxes will make you quicker. Also do a variety of sit ups and crunches, your core is very key in athletics. And just run, go for a jog one day then do some sprints on another day. You really have to be dedicated if you truly want to maximize your potential. Excellent Luck, hope this helps.

Sadly, a small bit of animal protein in the form dairy, eggs, capon, and meat will help you bulk up more quickly. But, there are side things of eating an animal protein rich diet. Over time, this animal protein rich diet will lead to Heart Disease, Stroke, Cancers, and Diabetes. (T. Colin Campbell)

A pure vegetarian diet will avoid the risks of these diseases over time. In fact, some of the greatest athletes with the longest careers have been pure vegetarian (vegan) at their peak normal years.

The answer is a program of body building by free weights. I would check out a book called “Body for Life.” The first part of the book is pure inspiration, so you might want to skip it. But the book does provide a excellent set of free weight exercises and schedule.

In person, I’d avoid the whey and other protein drinks because of health side things. But, it is the fastest way to build muscle bulk. Remember that a vegetarian diet is the best long-term diet for health. “The Mad Cowboy”
